Producing a timeous and accurate result is an overiding focus and mission of Genau Pathology Laboratories. Nothing is more important.
- Genau Pathology Laboratories standard mode of results transmission is a hard copy bearing its logo and seal.
- At the request of the doctor, the results may be transmitted telephonically or by email.
- All results generated within Genau Pathology Laboratories are considered confidential and will be treated as such.
- Genau Pathology Laboratories has designed an iPhone and Android based application that allows doctors and facilities to access their results on mobile phone upon registration. Please contact the Laboratory for registration.
RESULTS TURNAROUND TIME
When an unusually abnormal or suspicious test result is obtained, the Laboratory will contact the referring doctor to correlate with the clinical situation or collection conditions before the test result can be released. The laboratory has a standing Quality Assurance Procedure to promptly investigate and rectify anomalies.
RESULTS QUERIES BY THE LABORATORY
The test profile section provides information on the laboratory's turnaround time for given tests. These time frames are average projections based on Genau Pathology Laboratories experience.
RESULTS QUERIES BY REFERRING DOCTORS
In the event that the referring doctor or facility encounters a query regarding a test result, the Laboratory Consultant indicated at the end of test report should be contacted immediately. The Laboratory has a standing Quality Assurance Procedure to promptly investigate and rectify anomalies.
